On September 8th, 2018, Saturday, World’s INS conference was held in Beijing, China, During the event, Honor’s President George Zhao confirmed that the first 5G smartphone will launch in 2019. Mr. Zhao didn’t go in much detail like when they are going to launch the phone in 2019. But certainly, this is a perfect move for a brand that is mostly seen in the U.S. as it is considered as the most affordable option compared to the likes of Samsung, Google, Apple, etc.
With this vigorous focus on 5G future, Honor believes that their 5G phone will be coming in top-five smartphone brand by 2020 and will move into the top 3 by 2022. Zhao says that Honor View 10 will be the first in the market that would depict that the maker has to launch in early 2019, all the slots will be filled soon.
